Zasshi is new, but the hands behind it have been making albums for more than ten years, guided by a simple belief: the photographs from your most important days deserve more than a screen. We make albums the way heirlooms used to be made, by hand, in materials with real weight and texture, and every piece is checked by hand before it leaves us.

What do you make?
Handcrafted photo albums, photo boxes and the Story Magazine. Albums come in wood, velvet, leather, khadar and printed covers, and many arrive in a matching box or case. Photo boxes hold 30 to 60 of your prints, and the magazine runs from 80 to 300 pages.
What sizes are available?
Most albums and the magazine come in six sizes: 8 × 8" and 12 × 12" square, 12 × 9" and 12 × 18" landscape, and 9 × 12" and 12 × 16" portrait. Photo boxes come in fewer sizes, and each product page lists exactly what it offers.
How many pages can an album have?
Albums run from 24 to 80 pages and the Story Magazine from 80 to 300. The price shown is for the starting page count and updates as you choose more pages.
How is each piece made personal?
Every piece carries your names or your own words on the cover, box or lid. You choose the typeface and the wording: names, initials, a date, a place, or a line of your own. Each product page shows where yours will sit.
How are the photographs printed?
Every album page and every print is made with archival photographic printing, so your photographs are made to be looked at for years.
How do I send my photographs?
Within 24 hours of your order, our team gets in touch with a private link where you upload your photographs. Our designers arrange them into a layout and send it to you for approval, and nothing goes into production until you're happy with it.
Do you ship to my country?
Yes. We ship worldwide, shipping is free on every order, and we pay the customs duties too.
How long will my order take to arrive?
Within 15 to 20 working days of approving your layout.
How do I care for my album?
Turn the pages by their edges, and keep the album away from direct sunlight, heat and damp. Each product page has care notes for its cover under Care and Materials.
