Two constructions, one standard
Our boxed and cased albums, and the Signature Leather Wrap Album, have thick, rigid pages that open completely flat, so a photograph can run across both pages without a gap. Our other albums are hardbound, with pages printed on both sides. Every page, either way, is made with archival photographic printing.
Photo Album questions
Do all albums use the same binding?
No. The albums that come with a box or case, and the Signature Leather Wrap Album, have thick lay-flat pages, so a photograph can run across both pages without a gap. The other leather albums, the printed cover albums and the Hand-Spun Album are hardbound, with pages printed on both sides. The Binding line under Features and Details on each product page tells you which it is.
Which cover should I choose?
Wood and velvet suit heirloom and wedding albums, and most come in a matching box or case. Leather is supple and wipes clean with a damp cloth. Khadar brings a soft, hand-spun weave, and printed covers carry your own photograph or title. Our Materials page walks through each one.
How many pages can an album have?
Every album has 24 to 80 pages. The price shown is for 24 pages and updates as you choose more.
Can I add names or a date to the cover?
Yes. Every album carries your names, initials, a date, a place or a line of your own, in the typeface you choose. Depending on the design it is engraved, stamped in foil, set on a wooden nameplate or printed.
